Unproper Planning Of Roadblock by Road Transport Department (JPJ) Caused Massive traffic Jam along Mile 7th to Mile 6th Kuching

There was a massive traffic jammed along Mile 7th to Mile 6th road, Kuching on the night of Tuesday, 14th April 2009.

The jammed was due to the road block conducted by Road Transport Department (JPJ) at Mile 61/2 on both side of the road.

The location where RTD Officers conducted the road block was not suitable as it was near the Kuching International Airport. One of the road user inform Komplenbuster that he missed his flight because he was stucked in the jam.

Many road users met at the scene believed that the road block was conducted without proper planning and the place and time where it was conducted also not suitable.

They also suggested that in the future any government agencies planning to conduct Road Block must first conduct proper study to minimize traffic jam.
